Dato Sri Tahir
(October 21, 2013) Dato Sri Dr. Tahir, chairman of the Tahir Foundation, a philanthropy supported by the Mayapada Group, announced today that his foundation is investing $75 million to expand access to health among Indonesia’s poorest citizens.
On April 2011, Tahir donated $1 million to the University of California, Berkeley for international student fellowships for students in the full-time MBA program at Berkeley-Haas. He was a member of the university’s board of trustees.
